The AmiWebMaster mailing list celebrated it's third anniversary on the 21st of February 2002, thanks folks, here's to the next.

There are a few simple and common courtesy rules when posting to the list...

Make sure that your email program has the HTML option turned off, just use plain ascii text.

Keep quoting to a minimum, only include the text that is absolutely relevant to your reply. If someone wants to read the full text that you're replying to they can read the previous post.

Attachments of example HTML and ascii text are allowed, as it's easier for someone to save out the example to look at or try out, this is the preferred method for inclusion of HTML. Do NOT include graphics unless it is essential and then only the ones that are relevant. If there's something you'd like to discuss about a web site it is best to just mention the full URL where it can be seen including the http://www part for example http://www.magnumopus.co.uk

Never post binary files, programs, archives, etc. to the list.

Anyone who uses the email address's of members to send spam mail to will be immediately removed and permanently banned.
