The Pure Amiga mailing list is owned by, and subscribed to by, a group of Amiga
owners from all around the globe.
Countries represented include;
United Kingdom, Italy, United States of America, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland,
Germany, Australia, Spain, Sweden, Mexico, Canada, Switzerland, Turkey, Argentina, France, and many more.
The beauty of this list is that it has no cultural, ethnic or social divides
and everyone's input is welcomed and appreciated. Supposedly, the topic of conversation is Amiga's, our
problems, solutions and ideas but we tend to wander a little. We'll discuss anything. Anything at all and
subscribers have the most well-worn [DELETE] key of any platform. That is, if you can find it through the tears
of laughter!
We have a serious side too! If you have a problem with your Amiga or it's
software, the chances are that someone in PAmiga land has experienced it before and can help you overcome the
problem.
We are an insane lot! We're intensely proud of our computers and often get
carried away. The list moderators sometimes despair, but often join in too!
Think of this list as more like a global meeting of Amiga fans in a virtual
pub/bar talking about all sorts of things in a light hearted manner and you'll enjoy it. It takes a while to get
use to this rather unique list, but once you're hooked you'll love it.
As time has gone on and there's not much future for the dear old Amiga, a lot
of the members have moved on to PC's as I have done myself. Although a lot of the computer related discussions
are now about PC's, Windows, and Linux, the list is as busy as ever with all sorts of non-computer related
subjects. As we all have, or have had in the past Amiga's we still have a huge wealth of knowledge on the
subject so don't be put off joining.

Subscription Information.
Due to recent changes, the Pure Amiga mailing list is now a closed list, ie
"victims" must take their favourite web-browser along to
YahooGroups to subscribe, unsubscribe or change their subscription details.
This is the little fellow that we blame for everything that goes wrong. Here is
one of the Pure Amiga Pixies. You think this is bizarre? Come and join the list and you'll find a whole bunch of
bizarre Amiga friends. Thanks to Jayne for the photo. Ar ooops, you miss-understand me, I meant thanks for the
photo of the Pixie, not that this is a photo of Jayne. :)
